Movin' On Up

We are crazy! My husband just took a job in Texas. Let me explain something to you. We are from Georgia. We both grew up in Georgia. Our families all live in Georgia. Our friends and church are in Georgia. Nobody in our family has ever lived outside of our town, let alone state. So why the move, you ask? We wanted an adventure. Why not try something new before we have kids? If we hate it, we can always move back in a year or so. Since we know nothing about San Antonio, except that’s where Eva Longoria is from (love her!), I mostly relied on google for all of our decisions. For instance, I googled san antonio texas and actually found a security system provider for our new house. I spent countless hours googling and researching the best neighborhoods to live in and the best companies to use for utilities. It was hard, but worth it. We are all settled in now and really enjoying a different way of life: a Texas way of life. No matter what though, we’ll always be Georgia peaches at heart.
